I have an old horizontal max-flow. The rail mount I have is stripped, and it's the extra I got from the place I bought my gun. I can't find any aftermarket parts, and I'm really tired of these cheap, light aluminum parts stripping. Any suggestions?

the rail is shaped kind of like this: テつ* [\ テつ*/]

Thanks, Amanda

amanda sadly smart parts uses crappy parts and does not use anythign other than aluminum for their old rails. If you want a steel one you would have to have it custom made by a machinist.

Blah. I was hoping for better news. Know any good machinists?

Hmm. No. I think I can afford to buy whichever rail will work.

I think I'm just going to duct tape the stupid thing on if I can't find a rail.

If I do, I think I'll take a pic of a lot of people standing around it laughing and send it to sp. Maybe they'll feel sorry for me and send me a new rail. A little j-b weld, it'll never strip again.

well, to eliminate this problem for ever, you could buy the vertical maxflo and it doesnt look as bulky but performs the exact same

I have a brand new maxflow on this tank (see review forum on hpa for details), so that's not really an option. At the cup, I was wandering through the Shocktech booth and found a miraculous invention called a smart thing. It cost me $10 and solved all my problems.

But I'd like to thank everyone for their tries to help me.

Except the suggestion of petty larceny. That wasn't helpful at all.
