Last I heard him say he wasn't pleased with it. That's to say it lightly.

Damn it seems we all have shot Max's Cyborg :), when I used it I was very impressed.
It shot very well, smooth and very consistant. Here's my opinion of it.
Pros
-Lightweight
-Good On Air
-Fast
-Great Eye Logic
-Uniquness Of Owning One
-Looks (My Opinion)
-Very Smooth
Cons
-Not Many Around(i.e. parts, ect)
-Small Trigger Frame(i have big hands)
-No Upgrades(but that can also be a good thing)
-No LCD(but i'm fond of them)
I believe not many were shiped to the U.S but I could be mistaken, so there for finding someone to look at it or get parts would be a little though but not much trouble.
The only thing you can realy do to help you out is to shoot one your self and see if it's for you.
Ok, here's my take on my borg. The grip frame design doesn't work for me. I have the same problem with it as an e-blade. I'be busted my arm twice, badly the second time. As a result of that and a years of midevil sword fighting i'm pretty aware of my range of motion in my right wrist. While you just drum your fingers when you're walking a trigger I feel my tendons grating if they're not lined up right. On my viking, or most 45 frames, as well as timmy clamshell and alias frames I can get my hand on the top back portion of the grip, and rip pretty hard. (If you've seen me shoot the viking you know thats true) With the borg grips shape the trigger is down low, and back against the frame (no after market frame's yet, but there is supposed to be a trigger) which makes it hard to shoot with a high grip unless you use your fingertips to shoot it. (fingertips are not as fast for me as the middle pads of my fingers) so I end up with my hand wraped around the side of the grip to get a good set up on the trigger, but then can't hold on to the gun as well.
That becomes a problem with the thing because it does mow, I put the 25gm switch in it, and it is bouncing a bit (no full auto hopper draining bounce, but it will double) So if I'm limp wristing the thing with my hand off the side it pushes itself up with recoil. Between the speed it shoots at, and the high frame and center of gravity it does climb on me if i don't have it locked down. I've yet to put it on the bps chrono, but In comparison I got my friends alias up to 15 this afternoon, and the borgs going noticably faster.
On that note, like said before it is very smooth shooting, bolt and hammer both are tighter fitting than in a timmy and smaller, so while the bolt pressure I'm running is higher, the gun bucks much less when you shoot it because of the lower moving mass. (I may be wrong about the weights, I've never put them on a scale, but from the design thats my assumption)
texas-eclipse has the run down in his post for the pro's and cons, although I'm not crazy about the milling, mabey I'll chop it up a little later on, I hate the yellow fade, so it would be a good excuse to mill and reanno it (it is a type two anno). Maintaining the thing is simple, same as a timmy more or less, lube with dow 33 but you only need to do it every 10 or 20 thousand shots. Although if you don't lube it the thing goes to crap (LPR is dookie, but I'm working on a custom microrock to put on it)
Thats the bulk of it, I'm out at WAP pretty much every sunday with it, if any of you want to check it out feel free, I'll even let you shoot it if you want to feed it. -Max
