if the batterys dont have enough energy the board thinks there is a jam so change them

you have to have ALL NEW BATTERIES! I bought a 4-pack of AA's one time and i put those in with 2 bad ones, and my halo thought there was a jam, so i suggest you to put in "completely brand new batteries" for your halo, and it should work.

Look inside the hopper and see if any of the little paddles are missing off the paddle wheel. If one is missing this will act as a jam. Know look in the neck the best you can from inside the hopper. look closely for any foreign objects. Just inside the neck on the left there is a hole sometimes this hole will pick up a stick or in my case a paddle that broke of my paddle wheel. Look real good for egg shaped ball or anything else in the neck. If it's all clear you'll probably want to take it to a store or a friend that really knows how to work on a Halo.

mine did the same thing, i tried everything, switched out motors n everything but nothing worked, then i put my friends battery harnest on it and it worked fine... try that
I'm having that same problem, I was thinking about doing the 9v conversion in it, so this is really getting me towards that so, does any one suggest the 9v wireing harness?

another thing to check for is to make sure the beads are still inside if not it will have the tendency to jam, also make sure that the little plastic catcher inside the cone drive isnt broke, or else it will turn on and spin, but wont catch. try cleaning the eyes. Also the kirklands are kinda cheap and generic, the halos dont work too god with generic batteries. thats what i would try.
