Vlocity Discussion/FAQ/Halo Comparison

Hey. I was thinking about purchasing a Vlocity. Was wondering if anyone has used one and what their opinion is on it.

Pros:
Feed rate of up to 25 BPS on the marker
Free fall rate up to 35 BPS

Front is shorter than a halo and is same height is feedneck is cut.


Cons:
Fugly
Tall Unless Feedneck is cut.

Looks like it would be the same height as the Halo's if the feedneck was cut. Its also shorter than the halo in the front and its lighter.

Ok i know they will be shooting Vlocity's... doesnt make the hopper great. They use what their sponsers make them use. Was askeing for personal opinions and expierences.

i got one. dont believe that it is as light as a revi. it is pretty much the same as a halo but it holds like 10-20 more balls.

One stoped working for the guy half way through the day. I didn't find out why.
The other one Snapped off at the nick like the older revees use to do.

it doesnt look too bad. but when your playing invisiball at home it is something new. but when your o the field u dont notice it. another thing i really like about them is the switch to turn it on and off.

ya ive seen them snap in half, they are about as sturdy as a Eggy in my eyes, it bcant beat a halo IMO

I've used one in 1 game and the one thing that bothered me was the opening to refill it was smaller than my halo, i lost alot of paint because of that!

the reason why the one snapped: it was a prototype and the neck is much thinner than the real one(the guy got it from micha)

the one that stopped working... was batterys and it started working again after i gave my bro new batterys

overall they are great hoppers...what sucks is the fact that they drain batterys quicker than a halo on steroids

ya i haven't seen any out there yet, but they look ok... i'd still use my halo though... oh the vlocitys are only 120 on Xtreme paintball right now whopee!

they dont come stock with a rip, but u can buy one.

ive used one for aobut half a game when my paintbroke/jammed the halo i was using (sorry dave, hope you got it cleaned. really sorry it was hellfire. i owe you one) and the only problem i found with it was it was a trick to open it since i wasnt used to it. it is really light and once i got used to it it was perfect. it was fast, small and light. i would get one but i like sound activated boards ;)
