Dynasty...done?

dynasty needs to switch leagues...

I'm not a big dynasty fan, but they have owned the feild for the past two years. The big boys have hit the field and they need to adjust. Now we should see if they are as good as everyone thinks. What matters is can they recover and finish the season strong. Time will tell as more games are played. They should do fine and will always remain as one of the top teams.

i fail to see why us avg everyday players even give a **** about the teams who we dont know. i mean seriously, who gives a crap if dynasty loses, or gets stomped forever

Dynasty will start losing more as long as teams like the dogs and avalanch are here. And there here to stay. IF they did switch leagues, they would lose harder than they are right now because they arnt used to that kind of play, although they have been scrimmaging against philly.

I think its to early to count these guys out. Must i remind you that they did win their first triple crown in the 2002 season. And their were great teams they were playing against at that time (the original avalanche, aftershock, BL ironmen, ironmen) and they still managed to kick butt. I think that with the split on the league's that they did have it easier last year and may have relaxed a bit on they're play, playing sup par teams. Lets face it you take away the naughty dogs outta the nppl and their is not much left that can stop the dynasty machine.
Now that more of the x-ball teams are going to the nppl i think it will be harder. And remember you can't stay on top forever. Everything has an ending.....Look at the lakers ;)

Dynasty will still own just not as much. Keep in mind they already won 4 events this year world wide and two second places and now a 3rd so theyre far from being owned :P

dynasty is a great team and great teams bounce back from their mistakes i think they will do good. but avalanche and infamous have gave them more of a competition, i go with flynbyu, go avalanche.

a team doesn't suck or are owned/pwned because they don't take 1st place in every single tournament of every year. if that's the case, then we all suck and are owned/pwned.

dynasty consistently places in the top 5 for a few years now. and that is an accompilshment itself.

I personally dont like dynasty, dont get me wrong, they can ball and i know this, but i dont like them. The only reason that they are "losing" the way they are is because all these great teams joined NXL....so they have been playing with eachother. great competition and thats how you get better. While Dynasty has been sitting in the nppl mowing faces off, they havent had great teams to play and excel with.

As more and more of these nxl teams go back to nppl, they bring this experiance of playing the other great teams that dynasty never had.

So in short, if Dynasty wants to be number 1 again, they have some catch-up work to do.

When Dynasty lost, it's not like they got rolled. The score was really close on all thier losses.

I still think Avalanche is gonna win the series though.

I don't think Dynasty is done by any means. In every pro sport, the great teams have up years and down years. The truly great teams weather the storms of the bad years to become indomitable powerhouses.

The Dallas Cowboys come to mind when they had their 'dynasty'.

I don't think we've seen the last of Dynasty by a long shot. Everyone gets a turn in the barrel sometime.
