Koolaid to dye your halo, what the *%$@^?!
There is a real good paint for plastic called Fusion or something. It's in hardware stores. To retain the transparency of the shell, try plastic dye like from a hobby store.

There is a place on Auburn Blvd. called TAP Plastics. They are an industrial plastic/resin supply house. If you took your HALO in to them and explained what you wanted to do, I'm sure they could hook you up.

Whoops! I looked at your profile and you're in Antioch. TAP Plastics is in Sacramento. I just took a look at their website at http://www.tapplastics.com/. They have several locations. I'm not that familiar with the greater Bay Area, but one of the shops on their website should be close to you.

Get rit dye take your shells and put them in boiling water for about an hour. And there ya go. I did it with evo and it turned out great.

ok, since everyone is too lazy or undetailed for you to really have any clue of what you're doing here ya go: just take the shells, mix some rit dye with water and boil the shells.. then transfer them to a cooling bath of water. i've also heard of people putting a bit of the dye in the cooling bath as well. careful not to have the shells in too long or too hot or you will most likely melt them. the reason for the heating is to open the thousands of tiny pours in the plastic to make it accept the dye, the cool bath helps close the pours to make the dye really stay. hope i helped some one out with this.
