Does anyone know what kind of grease is used on the reg. in the conquest? And how often do you re lub the reg or clean it out?

you can use either dow 33 or 55, I use dow 55 myself. I usually clean mine every other time I play. I cant complain about mine I have one of the original ones going on four years and it still works great!

Right on for the info on this. I have one on the OG ones too and I was stuck on what kind of grease to use. Thanks again Brix, I think you are the guy who helped me make my decision to buy this system awhile back. This is definatly a great air system.

i would only use dow 55. I have my reason but hell i dont know much :(

I dont use either. it specifically says in the manual to use only silicon grease. I dont know much about dow 33 or dow 55 or even if they are silicon greases but You dont need to grease it too often. Once every couple of monthes maybe.

I use Angel Air Grease.

Manual says to use molykote33 or DOW33 (NOT 55) or shocket lube.

you only need to grease the piston like every 4 months. I didnt grease mine for over a year and didnt have problems. only problem I had was the 006 o-ring on the underside of the piston.

you do not need to remove/ disassemble the top works from the bottom works unless your seals are leaking.

Cool thanks for all of the help. And thanks for the link to hook up with the manual. I actually lost mine sometime way back when I first got the system. This really helps me out alot, so that I can know when and how to service this system. Thanks again folks!!

Where could I pick up some of that DOW 33? And I noticed that the manual was for the newer Conquest, are the 03 Conquest and the older ones the same on the inside? I mean as far as goin thru the steps to re lub your reg? And I got one more question.....Sometimes the reg comes loose from the tank, loose meaning the tank can unscrew from the reg itself, Is this a big problem or is it something that is ok as long as I keep it tight and screwed into one another?

I'm not sure, but I think the difference is the consistency (55 seems a little thicker to me). I know both cause o-rings to swell, thus creating better seals.

you can get tubes of dow 33 at any paintball store...
I know that predator Paintball Reloaded has them..
