I just Recently got into paintball and wanted to know whats the differnce between vert feed and right feed?

except for the "vert feed is when the feed neck is horizontal" vert feeds are completely vertical. or straight up and down

right feed sucks and vert feed is good plain and simple

it has been proven that vert has less resistance than right feed. think about it...on a right feed gun, the paint has to roll down the feed, rolling adds resistance to it and thus slows down the speed the balls can potentially feed.

vert feed on the other hand...the balls just fall and have less resistane thus can potentially feed faster. does it really matter? no not really, the difference is so friggin small you won't notice but its still there.

vert feed can give you and advantage to "getting the opponent in your sites". instead of staring at your feed neck, its right in the middle of the gun so your vision isnt blocked. your loader wont stick out the side of your gun making your profile bigger as it would do with a right feed.

i know this is prolly way more in depth than you wanted but hey, i felt like writing a chapter from war and peace. :-) later

ya but it requires a crapload of milling, it would be a lot easier to buy a new body.

i just bought a 02 cocker from a friend and its right feed and i want to change it to vert but not sure how to :-\

go to www.whitewolfairsmithing.com and see if he can help you. you may be able to have it milled into a vert. as i said it would be easier to buy a new body but go ahead and give that a shot. good luck
