2 out of the 3 omens I've seen don't work. They have that weird right feed thing. I hate their plastic trigger.


Althought it was surprisingly fast for the cost.

I would suggest cocker, impy, pds bushy, but mostly would suggest a dragon the one :)

Not trying to flame or mean but, most people don't set them right and jackup the hammer and valve, the right feed keeps it from choping, and trigger is metal.

dont get an omen. my brother spent hours trying to fix one on many different occasions with different problems.

why not get an impulse? has tons of upgrade possibilities and it's electropnumatic. it's a good marker to help you step up to the higher end ones.

don't waste your money on omens or overpriced blowback markers.

save up some money and you can get a WAS board for your impulse. it's $150 retail, your markers bps is capped to your hopper feed rate.

it's up to you want you want. i personally would have gotten an impulse as my second gun.

you can get impulse for $300. i've seen plenty of low priced used impy's on sacpaintball. i almost traded someone their impulse with a broken vision eye for my 68/3000 tank and $120 cash, a replacement eye is ten bucks.

i haven't seen the tes before. although by what i read, it's a electro blowback just like the spyders, just with a anti-chop eye (or "dragun optic-eye"..)

I got mine new for 250 and im really happy with it. Its fast looks really nice and Ive never had a chop from more than 5000+ balls becuase of the eyes. 20bps, uncapped ROF w/ eyes on.

dude the evo is awesome. With my ups I can compete with guns that cost 2x the price of mine.
Just my recomendation, choose what you like the best.
Whenever I go to paintball paradise the owner is always saying how its an awesome gun and that he wants to carry it.

dude get a compressed air tank that wud be a very good upgrade if u do cuz then u can buy a gun that wud be good and thats all u need really...but make sure u dont buy a a metal tank get a carbon fiber tank and if u can get a 68/45 or if ur low onc ash get a 68/30

you should get anti-siphon with any gun using c02. it will improve ur performance a lot. I think the b2ks need compressed air because of their cycle speeds.

problems w/ TES which I heard from owners/pro shops: they tend to break down a lot, eye cannot be turned off, so if its broken, you can use your gun, they use these foreign parts that are incompatible with any gun so there arent many upgrades for it, and their customer service is horrible, it takes like a few months to get osmeting back from them if its broken.

You can get a 3a nitro tank 68/3000 for like 130 or a pure energy 47/3000 for under 100 (but you get under 500 shots, not worth it IMO)

Whats up tippmann warrior. Anyways as to your dilema, im assuming that u have a tippmann 98, since you didnt say. tippmanns are really reliable and just all around good guns, so if i were you, having only 300 dollars to spend, i would work on getting upgrades for you 98. Getting an aftermarket barrel system, either a pipe or a freak, will greatly increase you accuracy, so u wont have to shoot as fast, and picking up a nitro tank will help level out your velocity so that you dont get the hop and drop of Co2. You could also look at picking up an electronic grip frame to help increase your rate of fire, but then you will need a revi or an egg to keep up. A Halo would just be a waste of money cuz an electronic 98 still cant shoot as fast as a halo can feed. These things will help you play better while you spend you time saving up more money, because truthfully, the difference between your tippmann upgraded and a new 300 dollar gun wont be that much. but when you are ready, you can step up to a high end gun, like an angel, a timmy, or my favorite for too many reasons to list here, a shocker. oh sorry man, i didnt know that the electro upgrade was that much......so in that case i would agree with you. I think your best bet will be to check out the sell your crap page on here cuz you can pick up some really nice guns for super cheap cuz people getting out of the sport want cash quick, so maybe you can get lucky.......as for what to get if u go get a new one.....i would have to say a black dragun would be sweet cuz my friend had one he was gonna sell to me, so i shot it alot, and they just rip. good luck and i hope u get what u want for your 300.

The Spyder with eyes? That's the Raven Primal, it's priced at around $500. I'd go with the Dragun TES, clamping feed neck, delrin bolt and HPA. Paintballgateway.com (http://www.paintballgateway.com/dremttaelsn1.html) has the TES for as low as $159.

I was curious about the Ravine Primal but Kingman over priced it :-X. So yeah, I've got a TES in case under my bed. I'll be trying it out soon. Can't this weekend. The guys at Body Shots (Vacaville) love this little beast so I know I have tech support near by. If I can't get it to rip right out of the box they can! I think if you take time to learn any gun it'll perform as best it can. I even have a working Omen for Pete's sake. As far as C02, anti-siphon baby, anti-siphon. And switch to HPA in cold weather fo' sho'.

My gun picks for bang/$$ would be like Spyder Electric over clones (exception TES), Shocker, Timmy , E Blade 2 cocker and big bling bling Angel. ::)

save yourself the trouble and buy an imp. you can put more $ into later and will work well for you. or buy a cocker but for the same price youll get a electro so id go with the imp
