u cn use a scuba to fill the 4500 tank but it wont be able to fill it above 3000 psi, however many fields dont fill above 3000 so im not sur how much that matters

If you really want to dish out the cash you can fill to those pressures. But usually, scubas can only go to 3000 to 3500. I have seen some scubas that can fill to 4350, but they were really expensive. It's really not worth it, because most scuba places can't or won't fill a tank to that much.

I have been using scuba's for quite awhile now and always buying and selling them. The norm is a alum 80 cubic foot tank at 3000 psi. You can fill a 4500 psi n2 tank, but it will only fill to that max of your scuba, whick is normally 3000psi. So in reality, you will only fill your 4500psi tank to 2/3's capacity. If your going to fill mostly from scuba's, you should get a 3000psi tank.
