Ok well I traded my red ironman timmy with duals and tons of other ups for a stock dm4. テつ*The guy i traded it to is dyelover30. テつ*Ok so he has good feedback etc. テつ*I checked all that. テつ*He wouldnt do the trade unless I shipped first. テつ*I really didnt want to but I really wanted the dm4 too. テつ*So i told him i was gonna ship it usps 3 day. テつ*I went to the PO on sat and for some reason they were closed. テつ*I told him I didn't ship and that I would tuesday. テつ*
Monday was a holiday (forgot which holiday). テつ*Anyways, i shipped it usps priority on tuesday to CA from PHX. テつ*I told him to make sure he was home on thursday and friday. テつ*It got there, and he wasn't home. テつ*Supposidly some kid jacked it right off his doorstep. テつ*His mom said the neighbors saw a boy with a box on those days. テつ*Well anyways, now he isn't going to ship the dm4. テつ*He thinks it is my fault for not making him sign for it. テつ*I distinctly told him to be there on those days and what service I used to ship it.
Now he is saying he will send me his classic timmy. テつ*I am really getting pissed off. テつ*He scammed me, plain as that. テつ*Even if his story is true, which it probably is, now I have no gun. テつ*
What should I do? テつ*He is in 707 area code in north cali. テつ*I have been really stressed this whole week about this **** and I want the fricking dm4 or my ironman back. テつ*Please help.
now onto the gun
its is a red ironman, has black dualies, alias trigger guard, cp stick trigger, dye sticky 3s, was 2.3, and cp adj ram cap (red), ccm rail (black), and kapp on off asa (red).
please please please keep a lookout for this and help a fellow baller out. thanks. テつ* テつ*

did u insure this when u shipped it. that is a must. if it was insured, and dood didnt sign for it, then usps has to cover it i would imagine. most drivers leave stuff on portch when they arent supposed to.

That sux man, you should have insured it because ups can be dumb like that and not do their job and take it back to the station if the person is not their. I hope everything works out for you. I got my eye out for the gun.

What aol names, pbnation names etc? We need more specifics to help you out.

man that sux i will keep an eye out at the fields i am going to and the 2nd rodents tourny in case he is there.
If he has good feedback, chances are he isn't a thief. You straight up said he scammed you with no reason.
It isn't USPS' fault, thats the way they do their job. You didn't pay for insurance, therefore it wasn't an important package to them.
The parents saw the kid run off and they did nothing? Sounds fishy. Anyway the kid could be some theif on the loose, he might not even care that it is a paintball gun, he probably threw it away already.
Partly you can't blame him for the loss of your package, I am if you REALLY worry for your Ironman like that, you'd put insurance and tracking confirmation. Don't say you can't afford it either, thats a $1000 gun.
I agree that the kid should've stayed home to get the gun, but I could understand his situation. There's been many unfortunate events where I can't make it home in time to rip open my package that I been stressing 5 days for.
Anyway, good luck finding your gun, just don't jump to conclusions like that. You are lucky the trader is kind enough to even send you a replacement gun.

He should send the DM4 regardless if it was stolen off HIS front porch. Once it gets to his house, its his. It doesnt matter if he was lazy and didnt take it inside. Its like saying I was trading for another gun and the package came and I left it out in the rain for a few days and then took it inside and started complaining that the gun doesnt turn on. His fault, not yours.

if I see a red ironman timmy...I will call the name anthony, if he turns aroung like sum is calling him, i will take a look at the timmy, then shoot him in the nuts with my timmy, grab his/urs timmy and send it to the right ful owner. But i need a serial number though

exactly
Honestly, would you send your DM4 off if the marker your trading for got ripped? I doubt it. The fishy part of this story is that he offered to send his classic timmy, if I knew something like this happened and it wasn't my fault I sure as h*ll wouldn't be offering up my timmy as a consolation. Maybe I'm a pessimist(sp) but I think this Anthony kid is a criminal and this was a scam. The easiest way to find out is to ASK HIM TO FILE A POLICE REPORT, afterall the marker was stolen from his house.

After you get this information, take the kid, and his parents, to small claims court and sue them to get your marker back.
I hope you get it returned.

This winds up being your fault. Untill an item is legally taken into possesion it is not the recievers responsibilty, untill it is signed for.
On important or expensive items make sure there is a legal transaction from one party to another.
He does not owe you his gun at all, and I would consider it a HUGE favor on his part to give you his classic.
Especially taking into account he does not know you at all.
I believe you should thank him for his generosity for helping you out.

hey man, i may have seen your marker this friday @ SCP (local field @ santa clara fairgrounds) in the possesion of a younger kid. only reason it caught my attention is because i rarely see ironman timmies and such a young kid with that kind of marker. if he shows up next friday i may be able to help you out and take a look at it but ill need the serial# to confirm it's yours.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but because it has gone over state lines, you may also be able to get the FBI involved too. I am not 100% sure if that is correct, but I have heard that.

thats funny ^^^^^^^^ this person is dyelover30. you could have used a different email address when u registered tough guy. and just to let you know, someone sent me an email today letting me know that, the petaluma police have been notified as well as テつ*your boss at your paintball related job. and a friend of your also contacted me and let me know that you do have the marker, and that he has shot it. ive been notified by people that go to the paintball related business that you work at, that you have the marker and they have seen it, and seen you with it. and that you told them you purchased just the body.
this information has all been relayed to the petaluma police department from what i was also told. as well as the serial number on the marker.
the outcome of this one looks bleak for you my friend. i hope this teaches you a lesson not to do this anymore. the internet is a very powerful tool, both for the mischeivious deeds you have done, as well as the ability for people to catch you.
oh and one last thing, your boss at your paintball related job has also been contacted and has also seen you with the marker. he was nice enough to agree to cooperate fully with the petaluma police department. i dont think he wasnts a theif bringing down his business.
you my friend, made a bad choice. you might consider some serious appologies, putting the marker back together, and shipping it back to its rightful owner. then i would consider never showing your face to anyone that is a member of these boards. thevies are not very welcome.
and just cause i think what u did was pretty de****able, i have decided to ban you. we dont need rotten apples in this sport nor on this website.

Dude Totaly Happy to know you got it back!
I would seriously consider this. I have been in a similar position as you before. I had the ability to press charges and thought that it would be more trouble then it was worth. Everytime I think about what happened I regret not pressing the charges. Iテ「竄ャ邃「m not an angry or vengeful person, but it bothers me to this day that I didnテ「竄ャ邃「t. Straight and simple the guy attempted to scam you, if you donテ「竄ャ邃「t start in with this stuff now he will try it again. And he may get better next time (but remembering to pull your head from your posterior would be a great start), and someone may not get there テ「竄ャナ努hat everテ「竄ャツ back.
P.S. In for a trade? I have a DM4. ;D
If you don't press charges, the kid will never learn his lesson. He will eventually feel "lucky" and will continue pushing his limits. Do something before it's too late. Sue his ass good
