how do u lighten an impulse?

im not that big and my imp is crazy heavy. i heard the otb frame takes a ton of wieght off do u guys know off any other mods to lighten my 11 pound beast of a gat(im not kidding) or should i forget sp and save up to get a classic?

if i was seriously going to keep the gun for a very long time there are a few things you can do

1. buy a lighter tank if it is a heavy on buy a carbon fiber
2. lighter hopper, if you are running a halo, it is a heavy hopper but very fast
3. this would be expencize but if you made yourself some blue prints of the internats you could bring your gun to a miller and have it milled out in a custom body
4. or you can just buy one the of python impulse bodies,very light. souternpb.com

-yeah, halos are heavy. if u can make due with a x-borad revy or if u can get ur hands on a turbo revy i'd say go with that.

-Get a stiffi barrel. great barrel and crazy light.

-get like a cp reg. nice reg and small. major plus if ur running a horz. maxflow cuz those are bricks.

-like donkey said. u can get it milled or you can find another body for it. but it'll porbably set you back allot of money. if ur willing to do this just save ur money and get something else.

for the cost it would be much better for you to sell it and purchase a lighter gun that will be fastr and more reliable anyways.

if you really want to stay with the impulse, get a milled body, dont need to customize one, unless you want.

as you can see no real difference between any of those except shocker and alias, but what is a pound really? hope it helps.
