question about tank

im kinda new to paintball and i was filling my tank(68/3000 aci) yesterday at my friends house with one of his scuba tanks and it seemed like whenever the pressure would get to about 1000 psi it seemed like it stopped putting air in has anybody had this problem b4 and what is the cause?

um yeah its called your friend needs to get his scubas filled. If they are only filling to 1000 then that is the total pressure in the tank and you won't be able to fill off of that and get anything higher unless you are using a booster or something.
