Hello I have just purchesed an Impulse off e-bay, all that is done to it is a magnetic blade trigger and dye grips. I am jst wondering what up grades are worth putting in to get better performance and accuracy out of the gun. For a reasonable price thought.

This Impulse does not have vision!

How about barrels. Like what is the difference between a rifle barrel with threds inside or a normal straight barrel?

do a little research and learn about barrel kits. there are probably more than a dozen articles written soley on the pros and cons of different barrels.

Ok, A topic I know quite a bit about, not b/c I'm brilliant but I had an impy and knew it well.

I will give you 2 links, IF you do not go to them then they won't help you. They will answer 99.9% of your questions.

http://www.kamworld.net/paintball/ImpulseFAQ.html

These links are akin to what the bible means to christianity. Read every single item that even remotely pertains to any question you can think of.

Couple things I've read that I'd like to 2nd or comment on.
1) Get the NDZ Equalizer stubby bolt, do not get a blind bolt.
2) Iron panther is right, NDZ makes the best parts. Don't buy evil crap
3)When you read the FAQ and ultimate sticky links I just gave you, you will want to keep in mind to balance your internals if your going to replace them all
4) Psybuster knows more about paintball than everything I learned in 4 years at Chico State, however vision is not a must for impulses. If you have a very fast hopper you can get by. A buddy has a halo on a 32* impy and has never chopped ever.
5) If money is an issue don't buy a barrel kit first. When you read the ultimate stickies and threads on "what to upgrade first" get a new bolt, one decent barrel (this is covered on which ones to get for cheap), and maybe an LPR.

I purchased a NDZ LPR (ANS Jackhammer reg but with NDZ name) and it made a huge difference in my efficiency.

If you go hog wild and get every ndz part like I did you can have an impulse that will run with really anything out there. Of course this will cost you about $1k.

Good luck and if you have further questions feel free to aim or pm me.

Alright now i got another question. Upgrading to a vision I want to do it but i think i migh purches a was board too I here it make the gun twice as good and efficient. How will that work? can you fit two boards on the gun? I want the board that give you different firing modes.

here is the link to answer all your questions on the WAS board for the impulse.

No the was will not increase your efficiency. efficiency is a mechanical property of guns and changing the elctronics does not change the mechanics. NO you cannot fit two boards into one gun.

WAS by far, with the 20-30 dollars extra, you get an amazing board, it almost is uncompareable.
