i went to SCP in the morning and took some pix then to BCM in the afternoon. i tried to get pix at BCm but i don't know if any came out. i suk at taking indoor pix. i played a bit at BCM and it was fun. too bad it's closing. Dale and the gang are really good people and it's a shame it's closing.

RIP was cool today. And the TOP Gun tourney was off the hook. They were the best of three matches and alot of them went to the 3rd. Some of the favorites was knocked out early by Dominick ( one of the up and coming young kids at RIP ), and there was some fricken outright gun battles that was awe inspiring.. Alot of stuff was given away in the raffle and alot of open games ran. A very good day at the field for sure!!!!

heh now, with the he bolt these new shockers can get upwards of 9 pods, but the ego will always trump that. are you picking up the red and white 05?

i wouldnt pick up the ego. the ego is 2 years older and would be much harder to resell. plus, the upgrades for shockers vs ego is pretty much one sided. plus, i dont think you will be shooting more than 9 pods a game.

At the recommended dwell of 55 chirps...a loader and 3 @ 3000 or a loader and 5 pods at 4500. I know what all the shocker fans will say I don't want to get into it. But how many back players run shockers and if you shorten the dwell you might as well run a poppit. The way the new poppits soften impact on the ball, the spools are on the way out in my book.

as an ego owner i will agree with your statement, spoolvalves have come to the end of their evolutionary chain. The dm's will be pressed to become lighter without droppingthe lpr system, and shockers are already tubes that shoot. without rearanging items such as the noid, board, and regulater(mini) the guns can never become signifigantly smaller.

i disagree. spool valves have started off wrong. first shown with the sft's. then came dm's which were a little better, but still had horrible effieciency. then came the quest which has become the perfect spool, in my opinion. only problem with them is where they got their electronics from. poor quality in the harnesses. my quest has gotten up to 11 pods and a loader with a 68/45. so if you say the spool is dying off, you just havent shot the right ones :)

and with the nxt issue, sft shockers with HE are nowhere equivalent to an nxt. the nxt's use a new desgin that although will not be equal to an ego efficiency, but will still surpass your air efficiency needs. the only reason i say the nxt over the ego is mainly because of the year difference. an 07 gun vs an 05 gun. if you pick an ego, you'll be stuck with it because there is going to be no way that the resale is going to jump.

DMs with poor effecienty don't know where that came from. Shooting a Dm4 and a DM6 for the last 3 years. The 4 has a 68 /5000 and the 6 has a 68 / 4500 both of these will shoot 9 to 11 pods and still have some air left over--I will say that since an ole boy in Nor-Cal reowrked my DM4 it easily shoots 11 pods without even gasping for a breath---I have shoot three different DM7 and they were all different--one of them only got 5 pods on a 68/4500.

i also own a dm6, i can get around 10 pods off of a 68/4500. dyes coustomer service was very rude contrairy to popular belief so i started shooting an ego, ill never go back to dye. when a company gouges an lpr housing you think they would replace it... nope. when a company cuts eye wires you think they would changer them out... nope. and when a company sends out a gun with tophat that has burs, they would change it- not just say its the oring... nope

well it turned out that the guy with teh NXT was a ***got scammer and allmost got my 360 and zune. So i went with the red and white 05 ego. It should be here tomorrow. I cant go ballin for so long. My books are gonna cast 400-500, gotta pay back 100, gotta pay my gas bill which is like 100 and that leaves me with...maybe 100 bucks if im lucky on my paycheck. Ugh! And i wont get paid again until september! Well, if you got the bf2 workin, call me sometime and we can go on vent. I got a couple of friends that play also. I could sell my spare mask for like 50? idk what do you guys think i could get for this?

cool. Trading it for a ul for my new ego. I got it yesterday and it was soooo dirty. It didnt look like this guy cleaned it once. After i cleaned it, it looks way better. The internals were all dirty also so i cleaned and re-lubed so i think im on good shape. Im worried about the two back screws on your grip going into the sides of the noid. There are dents there on the noid so i hope its still good. If its not im callin that dude. :)

yea, the 07 feels totaly different (for me). sisne there is no rammer housing its alot tighter. also the solinoid is runs completely off of the battery, and the 07 board alows you to choose between breakbeam sensor or microswith.

if i was in you position i would do it.

have you ever played with a Jr? i HATE them, they are A LITTLE bit smaller, and the lid was ALWAY poping open when i didnt want it too, i lost a **** load of paint due to the lid popping open. mabe it was just the one i was using i dunno, but i really like my vlocity i would buy another one, but i wouldnt buy a Jr. but talk to other people too see if it was just the one that i was using that sucked

well....the newspaper, the most accurate source for weather I've found, puts the wind at 12-25 mph Saturday. That's too high for my netting/post arrangement. Sunday is listed at 6-12 mph. So we gotta change....
