Chopping impulse

Hey, I have a non-vision impulse with a CCM feedneck, Halo B with v35, and rip drive, no upgrades on the gun except for a trigger job, the CCM Mid-rise feedneck, and a Evil Driver barrel. Lately when i walk the trigger it chops every so often shots what could be causing this?

crappy balls? bore size of barrel? probably one of the two cuz impys normally dont chop w/ halos

Well I noticed that you got the V board, but I dono if they shortened up the timing between the motor and board, faster eyes, or simply using more force.

But if it's using more force it could be pushing balls further than the detent loading two balls. Was the paint too big for the bore?

maybe there is some crap inside the barrell or maybe the bolt cant handle it

The barrel is brand new and is sized at .689 the paint i was shooting was worrpaint at .687

could the detents be too weak and let it double feed?

I agree with what the folks above me advised...cheap balls, bore sizes should be checked. I had the same prob (halo b/blind impy). When I changed my detents to NDZ everything was alot better. Stock detents only last for a year or 2 and can't handle a force fed hopper. My problem was fixed.

Does vision have a bip (ball in place delay) mode? I know was does. Check that if your manual indicates vision has that function.

Replace ur detets as well, NDZ all the way.

no smart parts vision does not have a bip delay. only was boards.

I don't have vision right now. I just put in new designz detents and im going to test it out today.

if it is still choppin look at the holes in the barrel and make sure ther aint any dirt in um

i put in new desingnz detents, they fixed the problem
