This is my first post on this forum so let me intro meself. i play at nfinite mostly, and i bought a pump kit a while ago but have only used it a couple times. i just got outta the paintball loop for a while but now im gettin back into it.

Heres my story:

so ive been playin for a long time, startin out with a tippman and movin to cockers...i had a system x cocker but that fell apart on me so i got an 05 prostock that hasnt broken yet. At least the gun hasnt... i got caught up in the rush to get the fastest marker i could and the eblade i got on ebay worked alright, for a while. then stuff fell apart; my solenoid would not stop leaking, i bought a bunch of stuff to fix it but it only slightly delayed the inevitable. finally my eblade decided it didnt like paintball anymore and retired. so after fussing with my gun every day just to have it still not work i moved back to mech. then hoses leaked and o-rings broke, and my front block went straight to hell. so i got the honor of using one of my friend/ref's pump cockers. that night i went home, took off the front block, and ordered a ccm pump kit.

just wanna get to know some other pump players in the area, and maybe pick up some tips to make me seem a lot less noobish out there..

Peace!

You should come on out to our pump tournaments this Sat and Sunday. You can meet most all the pump players in nor-cal. It should be alot of fun to watch.

like what Debbie was saying, come out to WAP this weekend. 17 pump teams will be playing on sat. So 50+ players plus a bunch of other pump players that'll be hanging around.

and eight 5-man pump teams will be playing on sunday.

come on out! don't miss the last nor-cal osc event for the season = )

Yep if your lookin for good pump crowds, WAP and NFinite have plenty of. Definitely check out the OSC. Shows you dont need 30bps to be competitive. Anyhow welcome to the club and if you make it out to Nfinite sometime within my last 2 weeks in Cali, I'll be using the blue 05 Prostock Pump or Red/Black Acid Phantom. - Im Travis btw. Take it easy.

If you play on Sunday be sure you got fresh batteries in your hopper if you help the boys scrimmage with your semi....LOL

Adrenaline Zone has them. Get a pod with the collar and you can use that for the 50 round hopper flip top. my son (NICK || NIKE) and I are usually there Sat and Sundays as he usually refs 1 of the days.

hey is it cool to use Co2 on a cocker?

It's ok, But I don't advise it. Co2 will freeze o-rings and such and you will probably have to service your gat more often than with compressed air. But ya it will work.

buy a cheap compressed air tank... it will be better in the long run.

Bah, all you co2 haters

You can run all day with a 9-12 oz c02 on a cocker that is antisiphoned or better yet anti'd and run through a PPS stab on a cocker. Ask the guys at Travis scenario about the CCM s6 on a 9 oz sending them to reinsert :D

Its all in how you set it up

ya i have a nice compressed air tank, but it makes the gun a lot heavier than with a 12 ounce co2. i would buy a 45/45, but i dont have that much money right now. (mowin lawns doesnt pay as much as i would hope)

Co2 or C/A on a cocker is fine. They were designed to originally run on Co2. The reason alot of people hate it, is due to the velocity spikes you get due to the liquid converting to gas and on extremely hot/humid days antisiphons aint gonna save ya.

In my opinion I went compressed air because I got tired of having to wait for someone else to fill my lil Co2 tanks up. When most places let you fill your own C/A tanks so its the quicker for me. Plus Scuba is much cheaper at the home to fart around with (no pun intended for cockers lol) so again C/A for me worked best...

Either way you'll be alight not gonna damage your gun any bit.

ya i'd rather use compressed air, but my tank is big and heavy, and i want something a lot lighter

www.wevopaintball.com has 13 & 22ci /3000psi tanks make for a nice small c/a tank if you dont fancy the 45 or 68s. But again thats money to spend. But options are always available.

Hey buddy we were there also. you'll usually see all us weekly locals camping out by the tree with our SUV back doors open. You're welcome to come on by and set up around us. The tree is the local 'watering hole'. You probably noticed my son 'NICK ||NIKE|' sporting his new Leopard print Stockholm Joy Jersey. I shot his pump 1/2 the day for a change.
