Yo, I have a lasoya timmy, and i just got it tuned up, but i still cannot get the velocity above 175 without going above one hundred on my reg, with the lpr all the way in its like 200 at most. The dwell is set at 9.3
Any help is appreciated.

I know this is a idiot question but have you tried only turning up your inline reg and not your LPR?

Yop, I've tried everything. I've even pushed it past 100, barely but then i just get like 230? maybe.

ok the inline reg is the torpedo that comes down off the gun. the lpr is the reg that goes forward off the gun. if you tunr the inline reg up the lpr should stay the same. IF you only have one gauge on your timmy then your seeing the lpr pressure. IF you turn your lpr all the way down and the pressure still goes up on your lpr gauge when you turn up the inline then you have a bad LPR reg seat and that needs to be replaced. The operateting pressure of a timmy is 60-85psi on the lpr and 180-250 psi on the inline.

Ya he even put a new lpr on his gun. I saw it Sunday at WAP and gave him my torpedo to see if that helped but it didn't.
I was just thinking, maybe it's not low presure maybe he neeeds to change his barbs to LP barbs?

does he have the stock ram in it? I have seen this twice where a ram was too light and never was able to strike the valve with enough inertia to open it like it should. take it to blast and have it checked out. or see if you can try it out with a different ram and see if that doesn't solve the problem

but what color r the wires on the noid? some noids require a dwell of 16

if thats the case I think blast will exchange for a newer noid.

If I take your question literally, you have your LPR way too high. An ultra high LPR will cause the poppet to close early, resulting in low fps shots. Like Iron said, try it with LPR at 80 or so then the HP at 180 then increase it if needed. Your LPR shouldn't have to go much higher, if not lower. Mine shoots at just over 70.
Also, try it again with a different LPR reg. They are not always accurate.
