Well, had surgery Thursday. Was suppost to be by 8am but did not get into surgery until 12:50pm. The next thing remember is in recovery around 5pm. Everthing went well I assume so far and I see the doc again in the morning. Would have posted something sooner but I have been pretty much drugged out since I got home. The doc has me taking 3 10mg Norco every 4 hours. So I've stayed pretty much groggy. Today at my 4pm pills I started taking only 1 and 1/2 pills so I'm slightly clearer in the head.

Anyway hope to see some of ya out on the field in a few of weeks. CYA!!!!!

Good job James, speedy recovery to you! Norcos and Oxy's have to be cut back lol, been there. Look forward to seeing you all heeled on the field.

ooh just read your other post about the surgery, hope you recover quick, i know my gf was up and around on her crutches in about a week so I hope the same for you, enjoy your drugs! lol

Yeah, the surgeon had me up and walking within 2 hours of the surgery. And I have pretty much been up and walking since. According to the surgeon I should be able to go back to work this next week.. He said it would just depend on my pain tolerance.


I have already quit with the pain meds and have just went back to one or two asprin now. So I think I should be able to go back to work OK. And would think I should be able to start playing again in another week after that...


That's my plan anyway....

Sounds like it's going pretty smooth for you!! I hope it keeps going that way and you get that much deserved relief from the pain.:)

Yeah, I hope it helps with the pain like he said it should. If not, there is still a couple more options yet before they have to just replace it. They are for sure going to have to replace it, we are just tring to put it off as long as possible....
