okay im buying a used 2003 impluse with no eye because thats the only thing i can affrod right know do you guys think that 160 is a good price ? and alos what kinad upgrades should i get i already have a stiffi berrel kit and what is the rate fire on the 2003 impulse? and whould an eye make it faster / yeah i could only affrod that right know and im looking to joing tournys so is that a good tourny gun for the price?? yeah it would be kool if some one can help me out a but

$160 is a great price for a 2k3 impy, but be careful though. For that price there might be something wrong with it. I recomend asking the buyer if you can test it before you buy it just to make sure everything is in working order. Eyes don't really make the gun faster. They just make is so the gun will not chop. Impulse's rate of fire are basically limited by house fast you can pull the trigger. So if you have fast fingers and a non vison imp I suggest that you get a fast hopper. Like atleast an egg, halo at best.

the vision board does actually raise the rate of fire cap of the impulse. I would definitely suggest getting vision for it when you can afford it.

great price...best gun for under 500. Check out was boards for the eye/board upgrades and get a halo b and you don't ever have to worry about chops.

just get a halo b for it u dont need the eyes. i know every one is going to say oh ya u need the eyes but realy u dont with the halo. i got a 04 impulse with out eyes and it works just fine and dose not chop at all.

thanx guys yeah i got the impy i tryed it out yeah it chops bu ti think cuase the balls were old do you guys think i should get a tape worm the impy has a maxflow system but it is a air hog wasted a whole tank of air with half a box of paint would a tape worm fix that prob.?

no the tape worm will not improve your efficiency. impulses are gas hogs and the tape worm was only designed to reduce/eliminate bolt stick.

Check your dwell, stock setting is 8 i believe. If your dwell is at 20 your going to waste lots of air.

With NDZ internals I would get about a case out of my 88/45.

if you are planning on getting a halo for your impy you will most likely need some harder ball detents because since the halo is a force feed hopper you might get some double feeds with just the stock ball detents. also if you plan on getting eyes, dont buy vision, get the equalizer because if im correct you get eyes, it shoots faster and its cheaper. or if you want to save some money just sell the impulse and buy my 04 silver dust angel speed. eh eh?
