Okay my 2k2 timmy shoots great and everything but it's velocity is a little inconsistent. I have lubed everything recently: lpr, hpr(torpedo reg), and ram and all that stuff and still the velocity bounces around a little more then it should. But, I did notice when i lubed my torpedo reg the inside was pretty scrathed up. So changed some of the o-rings in it and it helped a little. So my question to you all is it time for a new reg?

Sounds like you have a barbed (for lack of a better word) spring in your reg. Some of the earlier torps had springs with frayed edges that caused consistancy probs. To fix it, you can:

1) Buff down the edges of the spring

or

2) Send you torp to BLAST and they will either replace the spring or the entire torp.

Hope this helps

Dre

K i will call them tommrow. I took the reg to Frontline Sports today and they also said send it to blast. I was told i also have the older version of the torpedo reg so they will likely replace it for free since I havn't used tyflon tape on it. Yaya ;D
