The RPL beginner division restricts equipment and paint to make the jump from recreational paintball to tournament paintball as easy as possible. Player's must use mechanical markers and only carry two pods of paint per game.
The winning team in the beginner division at every RPL event will now receive three Tippmann 98 Custom paintball markers.
Starting at the next RPL event Tippmann's new TPX 68 Caliber Paintball Pistol will be used for the “Tippmann Challenge”. A massive one-on-one pistol competition that will culminate in a grand champion being crowned at the RPL Series Finale in Las Vegas.
