Hi all,

As I learn more about my autococker, I get more and more thoroughly confused. My latest kick is about regulators.

Okay so my stock gun as two regulators, right? The LPR which is part of the re-cocking pneumatics, and then the vertical regulator that is just in front of the trigger? Is that vertical thing even called a regulator? I have also seen it called a stabilizer.

I have heard a lot of people talk about MacDev Gladiator regulators. What is this? I know it isn't an LPR, but it also doesn't look like it would replace that vertical regulator. So what is it?

Finally, I bought my gun with a system-x dropforward on it. Someone told me that has a regulator on it too.

Can someone give me an explanation of this stuff please?

Thanks!

the regulator under the barrel is the Low Pressure Regulator (used to control the cocking pressure)

the regulator that acts like a foregrip, or the vertical regulator, also known as the inline regulator. It decreases the output from the tank to the guns normal operating pressure (at least that's what it is suppose to do). The Stabilizer is just a type of inline regulator, made by PPS

The System X Drop does not have a regulator, however there are several bottom line regulators, PPS does make them, not sure who else. But they will be known as "female" or bottom line regulators.

Then there are built in regulators in tanks. Most are going to be preset regs, going from pressures of 300-800. Some are adjustable.

Hope this clears it up

Okay that's what I thought.

So then is the MacDev Gladiator the type of reg that acts as a grip?

Yes, it is an inline regulator.
