Hey i was wondering if anybody ever does that free ipod thing and if it worked, i have read that it does and was wondering if ne one here has ever tried it.

The free ipods thing does work. I havent done it personally. But i have stuff on TV about it. It they talked the VP and its real. They take awhile to get to you because the demand is so high but its real. Not a scam

many people are ripping off costco for ipods w/o chargers.

it actually works, my friend has done it. the companies giving them out are marketing companies and they get a certain amount of money for each name they get to sign up for an offer they are promoting(blockbuster online, financing, book clubs, etc.) which is why they have you sign up for like 9 offers before they send you the ipod.

so say they get about 100 bucks for each offer you sign up for. 9 offers means they make 900 dollars. 20 gig ipods are worth 3 bills at most. so that marketing company makes 600+ dollars a person that actually completes the long ass process. and since we, as greedy ass americans, like free ****, loads and loads of folks sign up so the cost of ipods for the marketers is nothing. so pretty much they dont need to sell your info since theyre already paid off by exploiting the ipod fad.

You just need to refer 5 friends and sign up for one of the offers usually ranging from 1-30 dollars.

it does work, like everyone else said u just have to refer some people. lots of places will make u sign up for multiple offers online to be able to receive your ipod.

or u can just buy one... i got mine for 170 on ebay.
