i have a spyder icon, and was wondering, what would be better.. Co2 or compressed air???
Compressed air tanks can be used with any gun, including spyders. Though compressed air may be more expensive, it would be a great investment if you plan on playing paintball for a long time. Once you upgrade to a mid-high end marker, they will only use compressed air, so an investment now can save you money in the long run.

Spyder doesn't make the Icon. 32 Degrees does. But it looks like a Spyder Extra. You can use HPA, I think the pressure of C02 is around 850 psi and HPA is a little higher than that but not a problem. Just don't by the small steel HPA tank. It's cheap but is a brick. Save up for a nice fiber tank.
