YO everyone
ÂÂ* .... My shocker is having a few more problems since I got these new ups and stuff... Well only one real one (ok maybe a few more but who’s counting, seriously).
ÂÂ* Tell me if this sounds right: When i turn the on/off on my uni-mount and start to slowly let air into the gun it leaks a little out of where the asa attachment is to the lpr on my shocker (yes I have a mofockin lpr on muh shocker). I used red loc-tite on that and it should be definitely sealed tomorrow (don't worry I’m going somewhere with all this crap). So now that I believe I fixed that, I think the main problem is that my tank is letting too much air into the regulator at once for the regulator to be able to handle it. I understand that shockers are low pressure guns and I am running it with a tank that has an 800psi output instead of 400 or whatever...I am using a 68/3000 bulldog III regulator from ACI. I can't air the gun up at the moment cuz I think I bus- well I know I busted an o-ring on the piston........SOOOO
1) How do i take the piston out of the maxflo reg (do I need a very large Allen wrench?)
2) The problem is that it is basically not firing consistently. The needle on my gauge just keeps rising very high and whenever i shoot i cant sustain a certain pressure, it just drops down to 0 and slowly builds up again (so i could get like an actual shot off like every 3-5 seconds or so cuz I have to wait)
3) Is the problem my tank? Or is it something I can fix ya think?
Please write back with as much help as you guys can give me. You can get my AIM or MSN also through shockerowners.com, but here it is so ya don’t miss it incase you want to talk to me after you reply to this.

its the reg. ÂÂ*The new maxflows are crap and they bust that oring all the time. ÂÂ*If you get a new reg like a torpedo or sidewinder your problem there will be fixed.

PS if you want this to become a shocker thread you need to do the same thing that psy did with the autococker thread for your first post.

the way the new maxflow was made was wrong and it ends up busting that oring no matter what. don't worry its not your tank.

it boggles my mind why they would make a $120 regulator apiece a s**t!
