Today I was just dry firing my bko alot because I was bored and I had to drain the tank, Anyways. After shooting the tank from 3,800psi all the way to 0 psi the tank got really cold. Like a Co2 tank. What gives? I thought hp gets warm after you start shooting fast and shot after shot. Was it because the it was cooler outside today and the sun wasn't out?

hpa tanks get warm when you fill them because energy is being forced, or stored into it, which you will learn in chemistry (or is it pyhsics?) makes things rise in temp. When you fire it, you are using the energy, and a rapid loss of energy= a loss in temp. so its all good.

air requires energy to expand and so takes the heat energy around the tnak thus making the tnak colder. HPA just requires less energy than CO2 so it gets colder slower.
