If you don't care, then don't post. You're only littering a thread that is offering information to those who care. He was a very infleuntial lawyer in the past decade or so, his death is rather big news.

Do you even know what he is famous for?

He represents a small segment of the lawyer population who think of themselves as stars of the big show rather than someone who practices law.

Good riddance.

i dont know how some lawyers can live with themselves knowing they freed a killer or if they put to jail an innocent person

How do you know OJ was the killer? You didn't see him do it, did you? Cochran was doing his job, he was hired to defend his client. If you hired a lawyer and he did his best to get you the guilty verdict, would you be pleased?

OJ and Scott Peterson had the same thing going for them. They were both guilty before trials started. Cochran was just good enough to get OJ off.

ok that_one_kid I must call bull**** on you here. I don't know how old you are or even if you followed the trial at all but if you looked at the preponderence of evidence from the trial OJ was definitely guilty. However Cochran molded the jury into seeing things from a different perspective, a perspective that viewed OJ as the victim rather than the murderer. I remember one of the Jurors saying something like "I don't know no DNA". Meaning she ignored the DNA evidence even though it pointed right at orenthal james. My problem with Cochran is the type of person he represents. Morality is shoved aside and lost in the pursuit of wealth and fame.

True, I think OJ did it. But the fact that Johnnie Cochran was able to do what he did to the jury (not the whole getting a guilty man off thing) is commendable.

well to lighten up the air, they showed the skit on chappelles show about the court questioning thingy. lol "I got some bloody gloves at my house, that mean I killed someone?" "How you gonna arrest OJ Simpson, and you cant arrest who killed Biggie or Tupac?" "Nicole Simpson can't rap! I want justice!"

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
