Hi guys,

I'm having a weird problem with my gun. Sometimes when I fire, balls get stuck in my barrel! I am NOT short stroking.

The most recent occurence was last Friday at Sinister in roseville. I was using Blaze paintballs with the Progressive barrel. I would ifre, the ball would get stuck. This kept happening even though the barrel was clear of debris.

After awhile, though, the problem subsided. Same paint, same barrel, but the problem stopped happening. I was fiddling around with my velocity, but not sure if that would have done anything.

Is this just a bad paint-to-barrel match? I did the whole thing where you blow the paintball out the barrel, it never seemed to have anything wrong.

Could I be having an air flow problem? I was using the stock inline, but just installed a Gladiator on my gun yesterday.

Any thoughts would be great!

sounds liek an air blockage or your reg reversed(this is when it will recharge but seems to be extremly slow) Was it just randomly leavign balls int he barrel or where they falling shorter and shorter before one would stick?

It seemed to be random. Mostly it was sticking on the first fire in a series, but even if it was in the middle of a series there was no drop off in how far the ball was going.

Could it be something bad with my Tank Reg? If there's a problem with my inline, I just replaced that with a new 04 Gladiator.

I have a metal-mesh macro hose from my dropforward to my inline...it looks slightly misshaped from being twisted in different directions. I never really thought that was a problem, but maybe it is. I was going to go by a store today and have them take a look at the hose and see.

What kind of marker is it? Or did I miss this somewhere?

Sorry, here's the marker setup:

'02 Vert Autococker WGP
Palmers Micro Rock
Smart Parts Progressive Barrel
System X Dropforward
Stock Inline Reg (but this was replaced by 04 Gladiator Reg after the last day I played)
47/3000 Centerflag HPA tank.

Just a note, I posted a couple weeks ago about my tank reg slowly leaking air out of the tiny little exhaust hole on the reg...maybe there is more than that wrong with the tank reg?

The sporadic nature of your problem makes it hard to know exactly what the problem is. Is your hammer clean and oiled? Is it and your mainspring free from any burs? I would also check out the air line like you mentioned.

Is it even still having the problem?
