Whew, had a great weekend out at Supergame! Thomas and the family came up and we had a blast running around in the woods shooting people. First time I've actually gotten to play side by side with him since he was on the other team last year when he came up.

wish i had some time these days to pick up a paintball marker. I need a getaway.

Working my %^$ off here. working on 2 shows in separate rooms at same time in half the time per episode that i had last year, is beating me down. still have at least 5 months of this crap left. Steady work is great and all that, but only ones seeing any REAL benefit from all this extra/new stuff is the owners/investors pockets getting further stuffed. can tell too. new shiny rides "mysteriously" showing up . . . .. clothing on "certain individuals" styles and caliber changing . . . .that sorta crap. *sssssiiiggghhhh*
christmas bonus this year had better be of the serious arse whoopingly large variety. Just sayin.

Other than work . . . . . in the few left over hours of the day/weekends i have off, im on the road. ALOT!! this weekend was for helping son cut a huge double garage door size hole in a basement wall so that he can get cars inside for working on them. Had to build doors rather than install a conventional garage door. door cost wasnt in the budget cards for this project. i got back home 130am today. worked all day sat and sunday, then drove back home. uugghh.
this coming weekend is a trifecta possible perfect storm in the making. friday is my birthday. karen has her graduation practice. she graduates college on saturday and mothers day is on sunday. and yup, more driving. dayyuumm.
the following weekend, weather permitting, im helping a friend finish hanging siding on his house from where we ripped out a backdoor way back just before thanksgiving. he's been kinda sick and hasnt felt up to dealing with it til now. good thing we used alot of tyvek house wrap and pretty much weatherproofed the opening since its been void of siding for 6 months.
then the last weekend of the month is finally a week off. going to hilton head sc and savannah area and just flipping veg out and be a total waste of time, space and air. thats of course, after the 8 hour road trip. yay . . . . more driving -_-

so thats the cliff note version of me. still alive. doing what i do. ruining careers and wrecking dreams. Daily.

Ya this is a busy week for me too. XSV has a 4 team pro practice this weekend at Extreme so Sunday I gridded the turf(with string) for this saturday. Built 2 pit areas. Today I have a 500 Ft trench being dug so when I get off work I can lay down pvc with air line in it all the way to the field. That way we don't have to leave just play all day. Saturday and Sunday will deff be long then Wednesday it's off to Chicago for some good old a$$ kicking

So, whats been going on in my life???
Im not sure when the last time I posted was, and Im to lazy to look it up, so Ill start with the last tournament.
The friday before the tournament, Amanda, Mandi, and I went to a Detroit Tigers game. It was a good time except for the drunk behind me and the "tough guy" next to me.
Saturday the three of us had a good day at a historical village in the area. After which we went to Joes Crab Shack for dinner with the team...and thats where the weekend went to ****.
At dinner we found out that the "random" we picked up decided he couldnt play. The remaining members of the team decided (or so I thought) that we would forfeit this event instead of giving our entry fees to the other teams.
The next couple of weeks were pure ****.
Shortly after that weekend Josh informs me that he has decided that Paintball is no longer fun, and decides to "retire".
Worst news was that my mom ended up in the hospital with severe chest pains. After a battery of tests, including a heart catheter, it was concluded that it wasnt her heart that was the problem. They still dont know what is wrong with her, but shes recovering.
While at the hospital with my mom the remainder of my paintball team sent me a message that they decided to quit. I find out later that they were pissed that we didnt play that tournament, even though we decided as a group that we werent going to play.

So now Im in the process of starting (another) new team. Im going to take this year off of playing tournaments to save money and get a new team ready to play.

sadly not august yet.

and thats why i have said F it and come the crack o noon on monday, im outa here til the 29th.

I know for a fact that its gonna hit the fan, gonna be a meltdown and whatever other disaster scenario 1 cares to insert here, while im gone, but come monday afternoon . . . . . i dont care.
If there are pieces left to pick up come the 29th, i'll clean up the cluster then. but for those 8 days, i dont give a flying fart in space what happens here. Im heading south and not looking back.
gonna enjoy the peace and quiet for a week.

so xsv lost there first game to uprising 3-2, bunch of cheating SOB's those guys are. and then came out to beat vendetta 5-2 in the next game to go 1-1 for today. tomorrow is infamous and then legend.
